Pay: Up to £13.85/hr

Job Description:

Looking for care assistants who can work with elderly individuals who require care demands patience and understanding. You may find that tasks take longer than usual or that patients may be feeling low or upset, and these skills will be helpful for the individuals you look after and for the service we provide.

Roles and responsibilities:

·       Providing personal care, such as washing, dressing, eating and toileting

·       Performing light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning, laundry and shopping

·       Assisting with mobility, lifting, transferring and movement of clients

·       Monitoring clients' condition, such as pulse and temperature

·       Assisting with medication management and administration

·       Working with other social care professionals to deliver and develop care plans

·       Teaching life skills, such as money management and communication

·       Accompanying clients to medical appointments

·       Providing specialist care for complex conditions
