Our client, located in Berkshire is known for their dedication to delivering exceptional care within a supportive and collaborative environment. They are currently in need of an experienced adults social worker who has a familiarity with working with people who have learning disabilities and autism.

Requirements:

•5+ years of experience in adult social care settings

•Experience of working with adults with a learning disability

•Ability to recognize and develop the skills of people with autism

•Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with strong formal reporting and presentational skills.

•A through working knowledge of legislation and how it impacts on the role including: the Mental Capacity Act 2005, Best Interest, Deprivation of Liberty, Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act 1995, and the Human Rights Act 1998

•A knowledge and commitment to making Safeguarding Personal and promoting wellbeing, coproduction and welfare of vulnerable adults

Other qualifications and documents required:

•Professional qualification in Social Work (Diploma in Social Work, BA/BSc/MA in Social Work, CQSW as required by Social Work England

The Job Offer:

•37 Hours per week

•From 9:00am to 5:00pm

•Competitive pay rate of £25.58/hour
